Hand-addressed airmail envelope, 6.25 x 4.25, addressed by Lee Harvey Oswald to his mother, "U.S.A., Mrs. M. Oswald, 1808 Eagle, Vernon, TX," adding his Minsk return address and name in Russian to the lower left. The envelope bears Russian postmarks on the front, and two August 28, 1961, postmarks from Vernon and Crowell, Texas, on the reverse. The envelope bears soft lamination, consistent with other official exhibits that were in the government's possession during the Warren Commission investigation. In fine condition.
