Handsomely engraved stock certificate for two shares in the American Express Company, issued to Silas C. Hay of New York. Signed at the conclusion by Henry Wells as president, William Fargo as secretary, and Alex Holland as treasurer. In very good to fine condition, with faint staining, and an area of paper loss to the top edge.
