Description

Sought-after official color glossy 10 x 8 red-numbered NASA photo (AS11-40-5931), which shows Lunar Module Pilot Buzz Aldrin unpacking the Laser Ranging Retroflector (LRRR) and the Passive Seismic Experiment Package (PSEP) from the Modularized Equipment Storage Assembly (MESA) in the LM Eagle’s descent module during the Apollo 11 mission. These experiments are part of the Early Apollo Scientific Experiments Package (EASEP). The Apollo Lunar Surface Closeup Camera (ALSCC) is in the foreground, and the Solar-Wind Composition (SWC) Experiment and the television camera are visible behind the LM. Reverse bears "A Kodak Paper" watermarks. In fine condition, with a trivial short tear to the lower right edge.
