Description

Partly-printed vellum DS, signed “Tho's M:Kean,” one page, 20.75 x 11.75, July 16, 1806. As governor of Pennsylvania, McKean grants William Bingham a "certain tract of land, called ‘Glaslough’—situate in…Orange County…Containing Eleven hundred Acres.” Signed in the upper left by Governor McKean and countersigned at the conclusion by James Trimble as deputy secretary. The seal affixed to the upper left remains intact. Also endorsed on the reverse by Timothy Matlack, the engrosser of the Declaration of Independence. In fine, folded condition.
