French military officer (1851-1929) who served as Supreme Commander of the Allied Armies in the final months of World War I. Official vintage matte-finish 10.25 x 13.5 Signal Corps photo of the French commander in his military uniform, signed and inscribed in fountain pen to Brigadier General Johnson Hagood, "F. Foch, 21. 12. 20." The. lower left corners bears the Signal Corps blindstamp. In fine condition, with trivial loss to the upper right corner tip. Gen. Hagood served in France during World War I, where he created the Services of Supply to support the American Expeditionary Forces. An excellent association.
