Two books: a first edition of Green Shadows, White Whale (review copy, with review slip and promotional postcard laid in), hardcover with dust jacket, published by Alfred A. Knopf in 1992, signed and inscribed on the first free end page in blue felt tip, "For Matt…Good wishes! These Green Shadows & White Whales, Ray Bradbury," with a fantastic sketch of a whale; and an uncorrected proof copy of the novel, bound in plain green wraps, signed and inscribed on the front cover in blue felt tip by Bradbury. In fine condition. One of Bradbury's lesser-known works, the novel gives a fictionalized account of his journey to Ireland in 1953-1954 to write a screen adaptation of the novel Moby-Dick with director John Huston.
