Uncommon pairing of souvenir pins from the Paris 1900 Exposition and Olympics and the St. Louis 1904 Exposition and Olympics. In both cases, the Olympics were part of the Exposition Universelle and the Louisiana Purchase Exposition. The Paris 1900 pin is silver-tone, 25 mm, with a crescent space to left containing raised text, “Exposition Universelle, Paris 1900,” and the main design showing various Parisian landmarks such as the Pont Alexandre III bridge and the Eiffel Tower; and the St. Louis 1904 pin is gold-tone, 25 mm x 31 mm, and features a cluster of white cosmos flowers filled in a basket with the front banner, “St. Louis 1904.” In overall fine condition.
