English auto and speedboat racer (1885-1948) who held the world records for both land speed and water speed at several times during the 1920s and 1930s. Vintage glossy 5.5 x 3.5 postcard photo of Campbell posing alongside his remarkable 1933 Campbell-Railton Blue Bird, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "To 'Eileen,' with my best wishes, Malcolm Campbell.” In very good to fine condition, with light bends to the corners, and silvering to the dark areas of the image. Blue Bird's first run was back at Daytona, setting a record of 272 miles per hour on February 22, 1933.
