Journalist (1849-1912), assistant editor of the Pall Mall Gazette, and founder of The Review of Reviews who perished in the Titanic disaster. Sharp 4.25 x 6.5 cabinet photo of the ill-fated editor in a thoughtful seated pose, nicely signed on the mount in ink, "Ever yours sincerely, William T. Stead." In fine condition, with lightly trimmed edges and minor corner creases. Encapsulated in a PSA/DNA authentication holder.
