Description

Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 23 x 19, March 8, 1928. President Coolidge appoints Jay C. Huston as "Consul of the United States of America at Shanghai, China." Signed at the conclusion in ink by President Coolidge and countersigned by Secretary of State Frank B. Kellogg. The embossed paper seal affixed to the lower left remains intact with a bit of edge creasing. Tightly rolled and in very good to fine condition, with edgewear, light soiling, and a few vertical surface marks to the right side.
