(Walt Disney Studios, 1937) Original production cel set-up of Bashful and Sneezy from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which brilliantly captures the moment when Bashful pushes a bundle of goldenrod under the sensitive nostrils of Sneezy, who soon unleashes a powerful, room-clearing sneeze in one of the film's most humorous sequences. The cels have been trimmed and applied to an airbrushed background as prepared by Courvoisier Galleries for sale. Character images measure 4 x 4.25 (Bashful with goldenrod) and 2.25 x 4.5 (Sneezy), with a mat opening of 6.75 x 7. Double-cloth-matted and framed to an overall size of 16.5 x 17; reverse bears a Walt Disney label stating "This is an original painting on celluloid from the Walt Disney Studios." In fine condition, with some slight instances of paint-lifting to Bashful; some wear and chips to frame.
