French designer (1905-1957) who earned a place as one of most influential figures in 20th century fashion. Vintage glossy 7 x 9.25 photo of Christian Dior seated at his desk, nicely signed in the lower border in fountain pen, "Tian Dior." In fine condition. Accompanied by the transmittal letter from his office, dated September 7, 1956. Dior is a rare autograph in general, and even more so in signed photographs. A fabulous example.
