(Walt Disney Studios, 1937) Original preliminary model sheet drawing of Pluto by Frank Follmer, which shows 11 different images of the Mickey Mouse’s beloved pet dog. Accomplished in graphite on untrimmed 15.5 x 10 artist paper, which is signed in the lower right, "Frank Follmer,” who adds various notes to the images, such as “Eyebrows extend beyond line of head” and “His tail is thicker at the base.” In fine condition, with a few short tears to the right edge. Follmer worked at Walt Disney Studios from the late 1930s through the early 1940s, assisting on projects like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, and Fantasia.
