ALS signed “Albert Edward,” one page, 4.75 x 7, embossed Windsor Castle letterhead, April 23, 1865. Handwritten letter to Lord Sydney, communicating information on behalf of his mother, Queen Victoria. In part: "I have showed the Queen what you propose having inserted in the Papers & she quite approves of it—She also thinks that 'William Tell' would be the best opera to have performed on the occasion." In fine condition.
