Original circa 1963 oversized Parlophone Records promotional card of the Beatles wearing matching dark suits, 7.5 x 5, signed on the front next to his image in blue ballpoint, “George Harrison.” The picture on the front of the card was taken by Angus McBean at the E. M. I. House in Manchester, England, on January 21, 1963. In very good to fine condition, with light creasing and soiling, and a faint stain to the top edge.
Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks, and by a letter of provenance from the previous owner: “I lived with my parents in Woolton, Liverpool until I was 12 when we moved to Australia. This would have been around December 1963. I was and still am a huge Beatles fan and as my mother knew Mrs Harrison, she asked her for a photo. This is the photo Mrs. Harrison asked George for.”
