A scarce proof from the 1972 Topps Candy Lid test issue, featuring the circular product info for "Baseball Stars Bubble Gum" on one side and a full-color portrait of Boston Red Sox rookie sensation Carlton Fisk on the other. The card boasts vivid colors and excellent registration, qualities not always seen in this test issue which was fraught with quality control issues.
