Spectacular color 25 x 35.55 poster for a fictional Jimi Hendrix show in Stuttgart, Germany, on January 15, 1969, designed by Gunther Kieser with stunning psychedelic artwork. Affixed to a same-size mount and in very good to fine condition, with some ceasing and wear, primarily to the corners and edges.
This 'merchandising' variant of the poster was printed by Darien House for sale during Hendrix's U.S. tour in the Spring of 1969. The original posters for the German tour were so popular that they were reproduced for sale at Hendrix's U.S. shows. The imaginary concert date of 1.15.69 was printed on the poster, so they were not to be mistaken for the original concert posters which had the date of 19.1.69.
