Description

Pen used by President Richard Nixon to sign ‘An Act to authorize appropriations for the construction of certain highways in accordance with title 23 of the United States Code, and for other purposes’ (S. 502). The official 'bill signer' pen measures 5.25″ long and features a navy-blue plastic barrel bearing a silver facsimile signature and a silver-tone cap section. Mounted and cloth-matted and framed with its original presentation box and cover, which bears a preprinted signature, and a printed copy of the original signed statute to an overall size of 26.75 x 23.5. In fine condition, with scuffing to the pen, and noticeable wear to the frame.
