Superb vintage matte-finish 3.5 x 5.5 'Velvograph' postcard photo, signed and inscribed vertically in fountain pen, "From Champion Jack Johnson to Sr. Ventura.” The photo shows Johnson in a classic bare-knuckle boxing pose, with an inset image of him in formal attire. In fine to very fine condition, with old mounting remnants on the reverse. Encapsulated in a PSA/DNA authentication holder. A magnificent autograph from the legendary boxing champ.
