Partly-printed DS, signed “A. W. Mellon,” one page, 16.75 x 16, August 17, 1925. As Secretary of the Treasury, Mellon appoints Charles H. McEnerney as "Passed Assistant Surgeon of the Reserve of the United States Public Health Service." Signed at the conclusion in ink by Mellon. The gold foil seal affixed to the lower left remains intact. In very good to fine condition, with light toning and staining to the margins.
