Original pencil sketch of the dancing actor by Dorothea Ahrens on an off-white 10.75 x 14 cardstock sheet, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "To Dorothy, thank you, I'm flattered, Dan Dailey." Also signed and dated by the artist in ink, "D. A. Ahrens, 1947." In fine condition. Ahrens made numerous sketches of entertainers throughout the 1940s and 1950s, and was highly successful in having her subjects autograph them.
