Original pencil sketch of the charming villain by Dorothea Ahrens on an off-white 11.25 x 14 cardstock sheet, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "Best wishes Dorothea Ahrens, Sincerely, Otto Kruger." Also signed and dated by the artist in ink, "D. A. Ahrens, 39." In very good condition, with some creasing to the edges, and a horizontal crease passing through his face. Ahrens made numerous sketches of entertainers throughout the 1940s and 1950s, and was highly successful in having her subjects autograph them.
