Bond of the State of Nevada for $1000 issued at Carson City on March 1, 1872, 16.5 x 13.25, boasting an attractive vignette of a classic boomtown, and signed in ink by Governor Lewis R. Bradley, "L. R. Bradley." The bond carried a rate of 9.5%, "payable in United States Gold Coin." In fine condition. ‘Broadhorns’ Bradley (1805-1879) served as the second Governor of Nevada from 1871 to 1879.
