Unused core memory module from the Titan II SLV computer, one of two that were typically installed in the computer. The module, 6.5 x 2.75 x 4.25, features part numbers to the upper circuit board, “MEM, 13160 Assy, 7559610-711, SER No. 34,” and to the metal housing: “Microdot, B46, B47, 7559190-003, 7747, 00013” and “7559766, 001.” Sealed in its original inner packaging. The outer packaging is present, but has been opened.
The Titan II SLV or Titan 23G, Titan II(23)G, or Titan 2(23)G was an American expendable launch system derived from the LGM-25C Titan II intercontinental ballistic missile. It was used to carry payloads for the United States Air Force, NASA, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Thirteen were launched from Space Launch Complex 4W at the Vandenberg Air Force Base between 1988 and 2003.
