Philatelic souvenir consisting of a 7 x 11 reproduction of The New York Times front page from July 31, 1971, with the headline "Two Astronauts Land on Moon Near Mountains and a Canyon; Exploration Will Begin Today," postmarked at the Kennedy Space Center on August 2, 1971, the date of the final Apollo 15 EVA, signed in black felt tip by mission moonwalker Dave Scott and in blue ink by rocketry and astronautics pioneer Hermann Oberth. In very fine condition.
