Color satin-finish 10 x 7.5 photo of LMP Irwin saluting the American flag on the lunar surface, affixed to its original 14 x 10 mount, signed and inscribed on the mount in black felt tip, "To Northview Community Church, 'Jesus walking the Earth is more important than Man walking on the Moon,' 1 Feb. 1987, Jim Irwin, Apollo 15, High Flight Foundation." Also includes a laminated souvenir card, 8.5 x 5.5, with the same religious quote written in pencil (in a collector's hand) using the flown pencil (SEB12100081-301, S/N 1019) and lead graphite carried on the Apollo 15 mission. In very good to fine condition, with some small surface impressions to the photo, and light toning and trimmed edges to the mount.
