Uncommon color 24 x 18 promotional poster featuring Alan Bean artwork entitled 'Scouting for the Right Spot,' which depicts CDR Charles Conrad pointing the way and LMP Bean carrying the ALSEP during an Apollo 12 EVA, signed below next to their respective images in gold ink by Bean and Conrad, and also by legendary flight director Gene Kranz. The poster, which faintly reads 'Failure Is Not an Option' along the bottom, was produced for the 67th General Meeting of the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors. Rolled and in fine condition, with a JSA label affixed to the lower right corner, and a trivial stain to extreme left edge. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from JSA.
