Official NASA presentation featuring a flown 5.5 x 4 Kentucky state flag and a flown 4 x 4.5 mission patch carried aboard the Space Shuttle Columbia on STS-9, both affixed to a display containing five photos from the mission and a certificate, which reads: "This flag and patch were flown aboard the Space Shuttle Columbia (STS-9) during the mission of Spacelab 1. Nov. 28-Dec. 8, 1983. Presented to Judge and Mrs. Henry Meigs, In recognition of your outstanding service to the State of Kentucky and to the Nation." Certificate bears a preprinted signature of NASA Administrator James M. Beggs. Double-matted to an overall size of 20 x 16. In fine condition.
