Scarce DS, signed "J. Pierpont Morgan" and "J. S. Morgan," one page, 11.5 x 8, March 2, 1881. First preferred stock certificate issued to J. S. Morgan & Co. for one share in the St. Louis Bridge Company. Signed vertically on the front in fountain pen by both J. Pierpont Morgan and Junius S. Morgan, the latter of which also signs his name on the reverse. In fine condition, with toning along the left edge. Documents signed by the two foremost figureheads of the Morgan empire are rarely encountered.
