Vintage glossy 10 x 8 photo of Shepard being helped from the original 'Mercury 7 Gondola' of the Johnsville Centrifuge, signed and inscribed in black ink, "To Joe Cronin of AMAL, with warm personal regards-Alan B. Shepard." Reverse bears an "Official Navy Photograph, Aeronautical Photographic Experimental Laboratory" stamp, dated May 5, 1961. In very good to fine condition, with scattered light creasing and surface impressions. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from Zarelli Space Authentication.
