Revered Spanish cellist and composer (1876-1973) widely regarded as the greatest player in the history of the instrument. AMQS penned on the reverse of a color 5.5 x 3.5 postcard, signed in fountain pen, “Souvenir de Pablo Casals,” who above adds two bars of music from what appears to be a work by Felix Mendelssohn. Postmarked at Mulhausen on April 10, 1929. In very good to fine condition, with a small tear underneath the signature.
