Circa 1981 Flight Research Model 705-A High Speed 35mm camera out of the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico. The camera, which measures (without mounted canisters or recording system) 13" x 14" x 15.25" and weighs roughly 65 pounds, features a latched side compartment that opens to reveal the beautiful interior mechanics, with two additional eyepieces and detailed instructions for film loading and lubrication. The back control panel with power and remote ports is located next to a boresighting dial, and the front features a shutter lever and the lens outlet (lens not present), with a U.S. Government Land/Air Division property label numbered "26320," and a Flight Research (Geotel Company) parts label marked "Camera, Model 705A, Serial No. 044." The eyepiece is placed on the top of the camera body, which bears mounting space for two acetate film canisters measuring 12" in diameter, and a photo digital recording system; all three of which are included, as are two 'frame/second selector' modules, various connection wires and cords, and the original hardshell carrying case from Flight Research, which measures 26.5" x 16.5" x 17.75". In fine, untested condition; the carrying case features scattered marks and scuffs.
