Description

TLS as president, one page, 6.75 x 8.75, White House letterhead, December 29, 1958. Letter to George K. C. Yeh, ambassador of the Republic of China to the United States. In full: "Mrs. Eisenhower and I are more than grateful to you and Mrs. Yeh for the lovely arrangement of American Beauty roses and white chrysanthemums that greeted us on our arrival here at our Gettysburg farm The flowers are lovely and we are both deeply appreciative of your thought of us." In very good to fine condition, with a faint stain, a light bend to the lower right corner, and a paperclip impression to the top edge. Accompanied by the original White House transmittal envelope.
