(20th Century Fox, 1980) Rare original color 35.5 x 56.25 promotional die-cut standee for the 1980 space opera The Empire Strikes Back, which features Roger Kastel's famous 'Gone With the Wind' style artwork of Hans Solo, Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker on a tauntaun, R2-D2, C-3PO, and Chewbacca below a large image of Darth Vader's upper helmet, with upper text reading: "The Star Wars Saga Continues." Lower portion contains cast and crew credits, production details, and "PG" rating; the folded bottom border features the GAU Union bug, NSS information, and reads: "Printed In U.S.A." and "Empire Strikes Back 8." In very good to fine condition, with dampstaining to the back, edge wear, and splitting to the right half of the lowest horizontal fold.
