TLS, one page, 5.5 x 8.75, personal letterhead, March 17, 1930. Letter to his relative Colonel Edgar J. Pershing, in part: "Here is something new again. I do not know much about this, but of course I am not this young man's uncle and I can not make out just what branch of the family he belongs to, if any. I am sending it along to you as if anyone knows, you are that one. I am sorry not to see you oftener, but let us hope it may not always be this way." In fine condition.
