Two letters by members of the famed Du Pont family: a TLS signed "Irénée du Pont," one page, 8.25 x 11, personal letterhead, February 7, 1908, in part: "Am handing you herewith copy of the contract in case Mr. Hilles has not sent you one. If you have any corrections it would be just as well to have them inserted in a revised contract before the meeting so that the transaction can be completed"; and an ALS signed "H. du Pont," one page, 7.25 x 9.75, March 27, 1921, in part: "I am exceedingly glad to find myself under Colonel Jenkin's most hospitable roof-all the so because I am meeting there my friends General and Mrs. Nichols for whom I entertain the sentiments of most warm and devoted friendship." In fine condition.
