Encapsulated in a PSA/DNA authentication holder. On this date, Alcindor put up 28 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in a victory over the Cincinnati Royals. Alcindor would take home NBA Rookie of the Year at year's end. In 1971, after leading the Milwaukee Bucks to their first championship, Alcindor took the Muslim name Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
