ALS signed “Oswald Heer, Prof.,” one page, 5.5 x 3.5, July 25, 1879. Handwritten postcard to English botanist and taxonomist Maxwell T. Masters, in full: "The weather during this summer was mostly cold and rainy in Zurich and the vegetation is everywhere retarded. Since yesterday the weather is very fine and will last, I hope, for a long time." In fine condition.
