Uncut sheet of six pay orders received by Connecticut’s Treasury Office, one page, 7.25 x 12.75, January 14, 1791. The pay orders are issued to Josiah Bradley, David Ingham, Matthew Hyde, Thomas Clark, Simeon Bristol, and one other, for attending “the General Assembly in their Session” in December 1790. Each pay order is signed by Treasurer Peter Colt, grandfather of the famous Connecticut inventor and firearms developer, Samuel Colt. In fine condition.
