Pay order to Treasurer John Lawrence, in part: "Please to pay Joseph Griswold, by the hand of Hezekiah Lane Esqr. Two pounds Eleven Shillings & Ten pence for Necessaries in Sickness to a Soldier of a neighboring State on his way thro' this State." In fine condition.
