DS, six pages, 8.5 x 11, December 27, 1957. Agreement between Trafalgar Productions and Frank Capra Productions, related to a photoplay entitled 'Hole in the Head,' which is based upon the play by Arnold Schulman and is slated to star Frank Sinatra. Signed at the conclusion by Capra. In very good to fine condition, with creasing and staple holes to the upper left corner, and a clipped off rectangular area above Capra's signature.
Released by United Artists in 1959, A Hole in the Head was directed by Capra and did indeed star Frank Sinatra in the leading role, with the supporting cast rounded out by Edward G. Robinson, Eleanor Parker, Carolyn Jones, and Thelma Ritter. The film introduced the song 'High Hopes' by Sammy Cahn and Jimmy Van Heusen, a Sinatra standard used as a campaign song by John F. Kennedy during the presidential election the following year. 'High Hopes' went on to win the Academy Award for Best Original Song.
