Handwritten letter regarding the publication of his work, in part: "Extracts from my writings having appeared in fourteen Anthologies I resolved that my contributions to them should cease. But these publishers ventures, apparently command success, & now I have had to refuse nearly as many times. It pains me to think of suing so in your case, as I am bound not to make an exception…If you take, saying nothing about it, I need not know." In fine condition, with a rusty circular paperclip impression to the top.
