The diagrams feature cross-section views of the automatic firearm mechanism, plus schematics of its various components. Both marked at the bottom: "The Norris Peters Co., Photo-Litho, Washington, D.C." Includes the printed United States Patent Office specification sheet, three pages on two sheets, which describes the invention as an improvement relating "automatic repeating-rifles with a rigid or stationery barrel, and has for its object the construction of a rifle of this kind with an automatic straight or single-motion breech-bolt, which is opened by the rearward pressure of the cartridge-shell when a shot is fired and which is closed again by a spring."
