Description

Three items signed by Broadway composers, including: a four-page agreement for a live TV presentation of the George Gershwin musical Oh Kay on NBC in 1951, signed in ink by collaborators P. G. Wodehouse and Ira Gershwin (twice, once for the "Estate of Rose Gershwin"), as well as Arthur Gershwin and producer Bernard L. Schubert; a three-page contract between Robert Cherin Productions and Alan Jay Lerner to take his "musical play entitled On A Clear Day You Can See Forever" on a 15-week tour in 1967, signed at the conclusion in felt tip by Lerner; and an application card for membership in the Catholic Actors Guild, May 27, 1942, filled out in the hand of Frederick Loewe and signed by him at the conclusion. In overall fine condition.
