At the 4th Cannes Film Festival, he won Best Actor for his performance in The Browning Version. Vintage matte-finish 7.5 x 9.75 photo of Redgrave as Charles MacIver in the 1941 film Atlantic Ferry, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “Russell—good luck, Michael Redgrave.” In very fine condition, with Redgrave boldly retracing his signature due to diminishing ink flow.
