Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 19.5 x 15.5, August 11, 1965. President Johnson appoints Sylvan A. Jeppesen of Idaho as "Attorney of the United States, in and for the District of Idaho." Signed at the conclusion by President Johnson and countersigned by Attorney General Nicholas Katzenbach. The gold foil Department of Justice seal affixed to the lower left remains intact. Framed to an overall size of 23.5 x 19.5. In very good to fine condition, with light overall wrinkling (apparently from mounting), and some fading to the signature.
