Three items: an inauguration day cover for President Gerald Ford, postmarked at Washington, D.C., on August 9, 1974, signed in black ink, “Gerald R. Ford” and “Betty Ford”; an air mail cover stamped “Sept 6, 1945, Tokyo Bay, Japan,” a date that corresponds with the surrender of Japanese forces in southwest Asia, signed in blue ink, “Gerald R. Ford, 5/1/43 12/24/44”; and a glossy 10 x 8 photo of Ford shaking hands with German-American aerospace engineer and space architect Wernher von Braun on April 24, 1964, signed and inscribed in blue felt tip, “To Robert Jacques, best wishes, Gerald R. Ford.” In overall fine condition, with a light bend to the upper right corner of the photo.
