(MGM Animation, 1960s) Scarce running series of 10 original production cels and their original matching drawings of Tom and Jerry from an unidentified episode of Tom and Jerry. The cels combine to create a brief animated sequence that depicts Tom, his tongue lolling hungrily from his mouth, chasing and grabbing Jerry, who eventually pops free when Tom hits the brakes in a moment of fright. Marked in succession from “6” to “15,” each of the 10 cels and untrimmed animation sheets measure 12.5 x 10.5, and all are marked along the bottom in identical fashion: “7745 40.” The Tom images range in size from 4 x 8.25 to 7 x 8.75, and Jerry, who is visible in eight of the 10 cels and drawings, measures approximately 1 x 1.
