Description

Hand-addressed mailing envelope, 5.25 x 3, addressed by Darwin to Scottish writer and dog breeder George Cupples, "G. Cupples Esq., The Cottage, Guard Bridge, Fifeshire, N. B." Postmarked at Beckenham, May 30, 1878. In very good condition, with a rusty circular paperclip impression to the edge and several pencil annotations.
