Handwritten letter to physician and lexicographer Peter Mark Roget, remembered for his Thesaurus of English Words and Phrases. In part: "You mentioned something to me of one or both of your papers read before the Society—namely 'on Galvanism' and 'on Comets.' If you have got either of them in a state ready for the Press, be so good as send it as soon as convenient, as we are commencing in good current." In fine condition, with minor seal-related loss to the left side and a few light stains.
